DENVER, CO …

Companies like Apple didn’t start out wildly successful and profitable. It took a plan and a vision, in addition to innovative products and services, to achieve the pantheon of business success. On Saturday, May 10 at the Denver Marriott City Center at 1701 California Street in Denver, CO, international entrepreneur and success guru Meir Ezra will be teaching the model used by organizations like Apple and other influential companies in a one-day workshop.

At this exclusive, one-day only event, Denver area entrepreneurs are invited to learn the Revenue Elevation Blueprint: A Proven Step-By-Step Paradigm for Building a Hugely Profitable Organization in the Next 12 Months.

“I love this training! I can clearly see the results in my bank account every time I take a class with Meir. It’s a no-brainer,” said Aneissa Van Metre of Plum Properties in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The workshop starts on Saturday, May 10, at 9am and runs until 6pm.While general admission is $47. A second option is VIP admission, which includes lunch with Meir Ezra, is $97. Seating, particularly for the VIP luncheon is limited. To register, visit http://www.BoostYourIncomeDenver.com.

Ezra’s international coaching and consulting practice includes a veritable who’s who of corporations, including companies such as BP (British Petroleum), Motorola, and IBM. Yet his true passion remains the small business owner/entrepreneur. Through his company, Guaranteed Prosperity International, he has worked with clients in the US, Canada, Israel, Italy, Colombia, Russia, India, China, Romania, the Dominican Republic, South Africa, Germany, the Czech Republic, Turkey and many other countries.

“The other beauty of Meir’s workshops is that you get real material and not just teasers to sell his other workshops or coaching services,” said Tracy Carvalho, a Colorado native and Boston, MA-area business owner who will be attending this Saturday’s workshop. “At the end of the day, you can just go home and apply what you learned or take the next step and sign up for other workshops without a high-pressure sales pitch.”

Material Ezra will cover on Saturday, May 10 includes:

  • The Unknown Blueprint used by the world’s most influential companies (think Apple) and how to implement it immediately in your business
  • The #1 thing you avoid looking at in your business – and why it’s costing you 6 figures or more in lost revenue
  • A proven step-by-step formula used by the top 1% of businesses to turn ANY problem into a revenue opportunity
  • The simplest and most overlooked Money Block that exists in your business… and how to overcome it immediately
  • Why certain people always have “luck” on their side…and how you can experience the same phenomenon in your own life and business
  • The exact steps for how to finally control your Income (Hint: it’s also the key to dramatically increasing your Business Revenue)

Ezra offers a money-back, no questions asked guarantee for this workshop if you are not completely satisfied with the event.

SelecTech has the floor at ACX 14 as a featured keynote sponsor at Vermont’s construction and architecture expo

May 1, 2014 //  by admin

Tom Ricciardelli of SelecTech

BURLINGTON, VT and AVON, MA…

SelecTech, Inc., a leader in the manufacture of innovative flooring products from recycled materials, recently announced it will be a keynote sponsor of ACX 14, Vermont’s construction and architecture expo. The expo takes place on Friday, June 6 at the Hilton Burlington Hotel in Burlington, Vermont.

“Vermont is known as a green state—from its mountains to its coffee to you name it. So, it is perfectly natural, pardon the pun, for a seller of flooring made from recycled products and 100 percent recyclable, which are actually manufactured in Vermont, to not only attend but sponsor the region’s most important trade event for people in the construction and architecture industry,” said Thomas Ricciardelli, president of SelecTech Inc.

Besides using recycled material and being 100 percent recyclable. SelecTech products employ a breakthrough interlocking technology. This technology removes the need for less than environmentally friendly adhesives while reducing the floor prep time needed to install or replace flooring. This saves another kind of green—money—by dramatically reducing installation times because old flooring can be left in place and machinery and furniture does not have to be completely moved or removed for installation.

In addition, SelecTech offers anti-static flooring products, specifically its FreeStyle ESD products. This type of flooring is typically used by industries such as electronics manufacturing, communications, aerospace, biotech and healthcare where electronics and sensitive data must be protected.

To learn more about SelecTech products, including the FreeStyle and FreeStyle ESD flooring products, visit http://www.selectechinc.com. For registration information on ACX 14, visit http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event;jsessionid=FAFEA3C229CB15650FB8C673231B5683.worker_registrant?llr=y7ihvgeab&oeidk=a07e97h0oib8f91f040.

About SelecTech, Inc.

SelecTech, Inc. was founded in 1993 with the mission of creating valuable products from scrap plastics. The company has become a leader in the manufacture of flooring products from recycled materials and uses one million pounds of recycled materials annually. Their products are made with up to 100 percent recycled content, are 100 percent recyclable and installed without adhesives making them some of the “greenest” and most cost-effective flooring products available. The unique interlock system on SelecTech’s flooring products enable them to be installed at a much lower cost, without a lot of costly downtime, which provides significant value to customers.

Using state-of-the-art technology and innovative product design, SelecTech created the top performing Place N’ Go residential flooring products, which are available at Home Depot. They are also the creators of the renowned commercial and industrial FreeStyle, FreeStyle BioLock, FreeStyle ESD and StaticStop ESD flooring lines.

SelecTech is a vendor partner of Health Care Institute, an International Facility Management Association (IFMA) alliance partner. The company is headquartered at 33 Wales Avenue, Suite F in Avon, MA. For more information about SelecTech, visit http://www.selectechinc.com.

Old Colony Elder Services Receives Grant from Eastern Bank for the Money Management Program

May 1, 2014 //  by admin

Old Colony Elder Services (OCES), the Brockton based regional elder services agency serving older adults and individuals with disabilities throughout greater Brockton and Plymouth County, has recently received a $10,000 grant for their Money Management Program (MMP) from Eastern Bank.

MMP volunteers assist older adults and individuals with disabilities with managing their household finances. These limited income individuals are at risk of losing their independence due to their inability to pay rent, food and utility bills.  MMP volunteers help these individuals by establishing a budget for them, organizing their mail, helping them write checks to pay their bills and balancing their checkbook.

MMP volunteers are needed in all 23 towns that OCES serves, particularly in the towns of Marshfield, Stoughton, Wareham, and Brockton.  MMP volunteers make home visits at least once a month to help keep track of their income and expenses. MMP Volunteers are trained for their task and come from all walks of life and include bookkeepers, accountants, teachers, attorneys, bankers and others.

According to Diana DiGiorgi, OCES’ Executive Director, “We are very grateful for the donation from Eastern Bank.  We have a number of older adults and individuals with disabilities who have been waiting for financial management assistance for a while now.  We are in need of MMP volunteers; we urge people to contact us.”

For more information or to become a Massachusetts Money Management Program volunteer, contact Brenda Carrens, OCES’ Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator at (508) 584-1561 extension 252.

OCES sponsors the Massachusetts Money Management Program to the local service area. The program is jointly sponsored by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs and Mass Home Care.

SOUTH WEYMOUTH, MA and QUINCY, MA …

Earlier this year, South Weymouth Dentist Dr. Richard Wolfert, AKA “The Toothboss” kicked off a Smiling Neighbor program to recognize people in the community who, through their own generosity and acts of kindness, have made their fellow citizens smile. With his recent donation of toothbrushes to a drive for victims of domestic abuse, he may have to nominate himself for this quarter’s award.

Dr. Wolfert donated 144 toothbrush/toothpaste kits to a drive to benefit DOVE, a domestic violence assistance organization based in Quincy, Massachusetts. The drive for personal and household items is being undertaken by Baker, Braverman & Barbadoro, P.C., at their offices on the fifth floor at 300 Crown Colony Drive and building’s lobby.

“Many women stay in bad situations for fear of not having anywhere else to go. DOVE provides options for those women but to do so requires assistance so these families have the basic day-to-day items we often take for granted,” said Wolfert. “Baker, Braverman & Barbadoro are to be commended for conducting this drive. I encourage everybody to help out this very worthy cause by contributing simple household items.”

The drive began on April 14 and will continue through May 30. Baker, Braverman & Barbadoro, P.C. will be accepting donations of the following items:

  • Personal hygiene – toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, nail clippers
  • Bed and bath – shampoo, conditioner, bath towels, washcloths, pillows
  • Kitchen – paper towels, Kleenex, disposable utensils/plates, silverware, pots/pans
  • Cleaning Supplies – floor cleaner, disinfecting wipes, mops, brooms, Windex
  • Feminine hygiene products – sanitary napkins, shaving cream
  • The general public and fellow tenants of 300 Crown Colony Drive are encouraged to contribute.

The Firm will be collecting these items in containers situated in both their offices at 300 Crown Colony Drive in Quincy and in the Firm’s offices on the fifth floor. The general public and tenants of 300 Crown Colony Drive are encouraged to contribute.

“We would like to thank Dr. Wolfert for his generous donation of the toothbrushes,” said Paul N. Barbadoro, a partner at The Firm. “This is the second drive we have conducted for DOVE. The response was to our drive for coats and canned goods last November was tremendous. We hope that with the good weather now here, more people, like Dr. Wolfert just did, will come out and help this very worthy cause.”

Dr. Wolfert’s practice is located at 1121 Main Street in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. The Toothboss offers: comprehensive examinations (written treatment and treatment plan provided); cosmetics; crowns, bridges and tooth-colored restorations; partial and full dentures; periodontics (early cases treated); oral surgery; restoration of conventional and small diameter implants; and emergency services (24-hour emergency phone number available).
