Voice4Nations “Pays It Forward” for World Humanitarian Day

September 25, 2013 //  by admin

In honor of World Humanitarian Day and all that it stands for as a global celebration of people helping people, Voice4Nations launched an ambitious “Pay It Forward” campaign.

Voice4Nations.org is the non-profit outreach of virtual phone service company VoiceNation, America’s telecommunications leader in virtual PBX, voicemail, and innovative live answering solutions.

Voice4Nations encouraged and provided each volunteer an opportunity to do something nice for someone else as a random act of kindness. Each volunteer came up with a creative way to pay it forward and positively impacted the life of someone else in the local community when they least expected it.

The Voice4Nations team found many ways to pay it forward, such as providing lawn maintenance to elders, buying shoes for children in need, giving money directly to a homeless person, purchasing gasoline so an unemployed neighbor could get to a job interview, and helped support a family’s monthly daycare bill.

“This was a special opportunity for our team, but the ultimate reward was knowing we made a difference, big or small, in the life of a perfect stranger. It’s our hope that the person on the receiving end will ‘pay it forward’ as well, and together, we can make the world a better place for those in it,” noted Jay Reeder, founder of Voice4Nations.

VoiceNation Participates in “Cell Phones For Soldiers”

August 5, 2013 //  by admin

With donations from the staff at VoiceNation, active-duty military members and veterans will receive a total of 5,235 free cell phone minutes and 19 gently-used cell phones to help them connect with their families.

VoiceNation, a preferred call center partner for thousands of businesses nationwide, recently participated in the Cell Phones for Soldiers Recycling Program within their organization in an effort to support troops and keep cell phone waste out of landfills.

According to the Cell Phones for Soldiers’ fact sheet, “An estimated 100 to 130 million cell phones are no longer being used, many languishing in storage. Recycling cell phones reduces greenhouse gas emissions, keeps valuable material out of landfills and incinerators, and conserves natural resources.”

Dedicated to Making a Difference through Outreach and Environmental Preservation

VoiceNation is dedicated to making a difference in the world. Their purpose, “To make the world a better place for those in it” is exemplified by the steps they take towards changing lives by helping others in the community and around the globe through specific volunteer initiatives such as collecting and donating cell phones to military members.

Emphasizing that every action matters in the lives of others, VoiceNation provides a rich work environment and a company culture that encourages staff to get involved and take time to volunteer. In addition to outreach efforts in the local homeless community, VoiceNation gives outreach support to children living in local foster care facilities; recruitment campaigns with Goodwill of North Georgia Oakwood Career Center geared towards helping those greatly affected by hard economic times; and the global clean water initiatives of Voice4Nations.

Over the years, VoiceNation has taken a number of steps to demonstrate their dedication to environmental protection including: incorporating a paperless billing system; launching ambitious recycling programs; switching to energy efficient bulbs; installing motion sensor lighting; purchasing green office supplies and donating computers to homeless shelters to ensure they don’t end up in landfills.

VoiceNation Celebrates Fourth Anniversary of Live Answering Service

July 29, 2013 //  by admin

VoiceNation, a preferred call center partner for thousands of businesses nationwide, recently celebrated their fourth anniversary of Live Answering Service. The award-winning answering service took their first 24/7 live answering call on July 4, 2009.

VoiceNation began offering virtual PBX and voicemail services to small businesses and entrepreneurs in 2002. Before long, clients were requesting professional live answering services and in 2009, VoiceNation’s 24/7 call center headquarters opened its doors in Buford. The company provides internet answering service, virtual receptionist services, and answering services for small businesses.

VoiceNation’s unique approach brings a fresh look to the answering service industry, offering clients instant activation, a fully interactive dashboard to manage their account, and other innovative industry firsts.

“Essentially, our 365/24/7 live answering service eliminates the risk of missing a call and losing a customer to the competition. In today’s fast-paced world, most callers will hang up if they reach voicemail and call someone else until they reach a live person. Our live answering service enables our clients to have a highly trained live operator answering their calls any time, day or night,” explained Jay Reeder, president of VoiceNation.

Record Growth

VoiceNation’s 2012 year-end statistics exhibited significant growth in the live answering market. Company revenue doubled, which in effect led to a 300 percent increase in live operator job positions within their US-based call centers.

VoiceNation also reached a significant milestone of 50,000 customers, due in part to their live answering growth within the small business sector.

According to Mr. Reeder, “We anticipate continued growth in our live answering business which means we will continue to hire qualified staff and hold another call center recruitment event later this year.”

Care2Call Outreach Program A “Home-Run” with Charities

May 22, 2013 //  by admin

VoiceNation, a full service voice communication solution provider and preferred call center partner for thousands of businesses nationwide, has officially announced their unique Care2Call voice communication solution for non-profit, tax-exempt charities.

VoiceNation’s Care2Call provides free access to voice communications infrastructure that charities need to thrive and make a difference in the lives of others. Charitable organizations with 501(c)3 status may now utilize VoiceNation’s Virtual Voicemail and faxmail free of charge, as well as other specialized communication services at reduced cost (for qualified recipients).

Keeping Charities Connected to Key Sources

Communication is vital when it comes to a charity’s ability to function and grow. From fundraising and media campaigns to networking with federal and state agencies, charities depend on reliable, consistent and high-quality communications daily.

“Charities operate on limited resources. Our Care2Call program gives charities the essential phone infrastructure they need to run as efficiently and effectively as possible. With voicemail and a virtual receptionist, charities no longer have to rely on volunteers or worry about having a full-time staff member available in order to answer important calls,” explained Jay Reeder, the company’s president.

Coverage in an Emergency

Care2Call also ensures that charities will be able to communicate during an emergency or natural disaster as VoiceNation’s system is housed at a secure, offsite location. Communications will not be disrupted if weather or other calamity shuts down normal phone service.

“VoiceNation has been the voice of the nation for my charity The Book Bank Foundation, as well as countless other non profit organizations. It’s critical to share, build and extend opportunities to other hardworking and honorable individuals, groups and organizations,” said Glenn Toby, Chairman & Founder The Book Bank Foundation.

He continued, “I can personally say I have been an eyewitness to the goodwill and care that VoiceNation has given to countless organizations that are philanthropies. Cause marketing and consumer advertising campaigns, but this gift is from the heart and not the pocket.”

VoiceNation Volunteers, Plants Garden at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter

May 9, 2013 //  by admin

VoiceNation volunteers plant vegetable garden at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter
VoiceNation, a preferred call center partner for thousands of businesses nationwide, celebrated Arbor Day in a unique way this year.

On April 26th, instead of planting a tree, the VoiceNation employee volunteer team planted a vegetable garden at the Gwinnett Children’s Shelter. The garden provides an opportunity for children residing at the shelter to learn more about the environment and obtain hands-on experience in maintaining, nurturing and harvesting their own food. The children will have a chance to get involved, and gain a sense of responsibility and accomplishment.

Armed with tools, plants and soil, VoiceNation arrived at the shelter with a dedicated team of six: Camille Childers, Caroline Culver, Kathy Levister, Ashley Pardue, and Joyce Wilmont. Sergio Perez of Gwinnett Children’s Shelter also assisted the team. VoiceNation built an 8′ x 4′ planter to house existing watermelon and cantaloupe plants. They also planted tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and bell peppers.

“Volunteering gives us the opportunity to have a real impact in our local community; to give back and plant a seed for the future,” noted Jay Reeder, VoiceNation’s president.
