Men’s Shopping Night at South Shore Skin Center and Spa on December 21st

Men, there’s no need to rush around December 24th trying to complete your holiday shopping. South Shore Skin Center and Spa is holding their first annual “Men’s Shopping Night” on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. at their Spa located at One Scobee Circle in Plymouth.

Men will be able to purchase gift cards and/or products for their wives, girlfriends, bosses, or family members in a one-stop-shopping night experience at South Shore Skin Center and Spa.

“Our Men’s Shopping Night is a holiday shopping bash that caters to the men who want one-stop-shopping for family members and friends in a non-stressful atmosphere with plenty of refreshments and free parking,” noted Richard Eisen, M.D., dermatologist and founding physician of South Shore Skin Center and Spa.

Women are welcome to attend. Guests will enjoy complimentary chili, cookies and beverages. South Shore Skin Center and Spa guests who purchase a $100 or more gift card will receive a 20 percent off product coupon.

South Shore Skin Center and Spa Providers Obtain Additional Certification and Training

Several providers at South Shore Skin Center and Spa, one of the most progressive dermatology practices in Massachusetts with offices in Plymouth and Cohasset, have recently obtained additional certification and training.

Lori Skinner, RN, BSN, Cosmetic Nurse Specialist at South Shore Skin Center and Spa recently attended the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) Annual Conference held in Grapevine, Texas and received additional certification in laser treatments. Ms. Skinner’s primary clinical focus at the practice is laser treatments which she uses to treat sun damaged skin, acne scarring and spider veins and to remove brown spots and tattoos. She also performs XTRAC Excimer laser treatments for patients with vitiligo and psoriasis.

Mary Rico, a Medical Assistant and Licensed Medical Esthetician whose primary focus is cosmetic dermatology, in particular Thermage, laser hair removal, facials, microdermabrasion and chemical peels, recently attended the Face and Body Midwest Conference in Chicago. Ms. Rico received education in oncology aesthetics – how to care for cancer patients’ sensitive skin before and after radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

LeNae Richard, a Medical Assistant and Licensed Medical Esthetician who cares for both medical and cosmetic dermatology patients at South Shore Skin Center and Spa, recently attended the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa in Miami and received education in Laser Hair Removal technology.

Mary Rico Named Medical Assistant and Medical Aesthetics Specialist at South Shore Skin Center

Mary Rico, a Middleboro resident, has recently been named Medical Assistant and Medical Aesthetics Specialist at South Shore Skin Center, one of the most progressive dermatology practices in Massachusetts with offices in Cohasset and Plymouth.

Ms. Rico is a Medical Assistant with more than 12 years experience who has specialized in dermatology for the past six years. She will care for patients at South Shore Skin Center’s Plymouth office and cosmetic dermatology spa. As an Aesthetician, Ms. Rico’s primary focus will be Thermage, laser hair removal, facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and cosmetic consultation. Ms. Rico holds a Medical Assistant certificate from Massasoit Community College in Canton, MA. She is a licensed aesthetician.

Ms. Rico has attended conferences at the International Esthetics Cosmetics & Spa Association in New York and received CEUs with CIDESCO (the world’s major international beauty therapy association) in facial analysis, product formula, acne and Rosacea. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association.
