Cathy Evans, a resident of Palm Bay, FL, is the new owner/operator of the Space Coast area’s Zoomin Groomin® Mobile Pet Spa. Ms. Evans has a tremendous love of pets and has two Coton De Tulear pups of her own. The Zoomin Groomin® franchise enables Ms. Evans to be her own boss while doing something she truly enjoys – pampering pets. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m to 7 p.m.
Prior to becoming a Zoomin Groomin® franchisee, Ms. Evans was a member of the Carnival Cruise Line management team where she was aboard ship for 25 years. Ms. Evans is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia and for 10 years previous to Carnival Cruise Lines, she managed a Vancouver travel agency specializing in cruises and business travel. She has been married to Mark Evans, originally from Wolverhampton, England, for 12 years.
“We cater to pet clients (and their owners) living in single family and town homes, as well as those residing in retirement communities, assisted living communities, apartment and condo complexes,” noted Ms. Evans.
She continued, “Our furry friends receive the royal treatment and we really enjoy doting on them. Because our grooming process is streamlined, pets don’t get stressed out as they would waiting around in a cage at a grooming salon. By making pets as comfortable and happy as possible, grooming becomes a very positive experience.”
Ms. Evans is extremely excited that Pat White of Palm Bay has joined her team. Pat has been in the dog grooming industry for over 30 years. She has been working in grooming management for the last 15 years. “I have been very blessed in my career and look forward to many more years of grooming. I have been happily married for 13 years and have a wonderful daughter and two grand kids to spoil, as well as Little Miss and Itty Bitty, my two wirehair Dachshunds!” noted Ms. White.
