Helping fix the leak without replacing the entire roof. Andrew B. Jones promoted to Supervisor of Roof Repairs for Paul J. Cazeault & Sons Roofing

Andrew B. Jones

September 23, 2022 //  by admin

A leak or two during major storms?  Andrew B. Jones, a Dennis, MA resident, will be the first one to tell you that sometimes you don’t have to replace the entire roof.

Given his experience and knowledge, Andrew Jones promoted to Supervisor of Roof Repairs for Paul J. Cazeault & Sons Roofing.  He is helping many South Shore and Cape Cod residents save thousands of dollars, with assessing and identifying roof damage and outlining a repair vs. replace solution.

“We can often extend the life of a roof,” noted Jones. He added, “Via interior/exterior inspection and drone camera views, we get a good idea of what the options are and how best to address the situation.”

Jones started with Cazeault three years ago as a Repair Technician.  His hands on learning provided a solid background on what to look for, state of the art materials and best practices in the shoring up a roof.

In his new role, Jones will diagnose and estimate roof repairs. Additionally, he will assign and manage repair crews that will implement the solution.

Jones attended Cape Cod Community College and the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Cazeault Roofing maintains offices at  1031 Main St, Osterville, MA, 22 Giddiah Hill Road in Orleans,  and 47 Liberty Street, Plymouth, MA.  The family owned and operated business has been providing roofing services to home and business owners in Eastern Massachusetts since 1927.

“Andrew is a great addition to our team,” noted Russell Cazeault, President.  “He has a keen eye for roofing problems and solutions.  He adds to our capable staff who can identify the challenge and come up with a cost-effective plan to address it.”

Paul J. Cazeault & Sons Roofing offers both roof replacement as well as exterior repairs including trim & rot replacement, new siding, or gutters installation.  Roofing options include asphalt shingles, metal roofing and fabrication, cedar roofing, copper roofing and flat roofing.  Roofing choice depends on the home’s aesthetic style, budget, and energy efficiency needs. Cazeault Roofing also services many commercial customers for both repairs as well as replacement.

For more information or arrange an appointment contact Paul J. Cazeault & Sons Roofing, www.cazeault.com,  508-428-1177 .

First diabetes-specific fitness center to open in Norwell, MA. Building a culture of good health with fitness, nutrition and support.

September 22, 2022 //  by admin

HINGHAM AND NORWELL, MA… The best way to predict how well someone will manage their diabetes is by how much support they get from family, friends and their local community.

Type One is building that supportive community.

The first athletic center to focus on type 1 diabetes wellness, Type One Fitness, is now under construction at 386 Washington Street, Route 53, Norwell, MA.  Individuals and families living with diabetes and the local community will be attracted to the center for its credentialed fitness trainers, nutritionists and state of the art exercise equipment and studios.

Type One is committed to expanding and enhancing support for the many families and individuals living with diabetes throughout the South Shore. The new 11,000+ square foot first-class wellness facility will be occupied by Type One Fitness (6,000+ square feet) with plans to include services such as massage therapy, Pilates, physical therapy, etc. to complement the facility.

About 1 in 500 people in the U.S. are living with type 1 diabetes. Less than one-third of people with type 1 diabetes in the U.S. are achieving target blood glucose control levels. Better fitness, better nutrition, and better support can change that.

Type One Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Hingham, MA is dedicated to providing essential funding for research for a cure for type 1 diabetes while also helping to ensure that those living with the disease have the support and resources they need to survive, strive and achieve their dreams. They are launching Type One Fitness to provide a higher-level fitness and personal training experience where clients and members can achieve long-term lifestyle changes through exercise and nutrition, and where all-around well-being is enhanced through unique features, services, and amenities.

Type One Fitness will provide a fully integrated health program for type 1 diabetes patients and the general public. The center offers a place for real time conversation and education for those living with type 1 diabetes. A place that improves the lives of others in the community by offering support not only for individuals with diabetes, but also for parents and caregivers, partners, siblings and friends as well. Outside of a medical facility, there is currently no facility that welcomes and merges a comprehensive type 1 diabetes connection with the general public. Type One Fitness does just that while enabling those affected by the disease to obtain any non-medical support that they need.

“There has been a significant increase in new diagnosed cases of type 1 and type 2 diabetes among youth and adults in the U.S.,” explained Paul Foti, co-founder of Type One. “This is extremely concerning. Living with type 1 diabetes, which is an autoimmune disease, is a lifelong challenge. As a community, we must do all that we can through awareness, education, and support.”

Type One Fitness will provide clients and members with a daily program of exercise and a healthy approach that perfectly suits their lifestyles and needs. Along with Certified Personal Trainers, Nutritionists, and Life Coaches, the facility will be equipped with the latest technology, media, cardiovascular equipment, ellipticals, bikes, rowers, treadmills, strength training, free weights and functional and flexibility machines.

Type One Fitness will provide a place where the type 1 diabetes community can find support for the autoimmune disease and end the stigma of what type 1 diabetes is and who it affects through education and awareness programming.

Type One Fitness is the brainchild of Foti and Type One co-founder Tyson Sunnerberg, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 21 years old and knows firsthand that the right resources and support make all the difference in the world when it comes to managing this disease. Five years ago, at the age of five, Sunnerberg’s daughter Elyse was also diagnosed with type 1, which intensified his drive toward a cure, and provided a firsthand understanding of the constant challenges the entire family faces when living with an individual with type 1 diabetes.

Foti continued, “Type One Fitness is committed to building a culture of good health, well-being and inclusion for youth and families, as well as to provide health and human services for its members and their families.”

Construction is being handled by Callahan/Hoffman Company, Inc. of Norwell, MA.
A capital campaign for the build-out is underway.

Straight talk on office ergonomics to save your neck, back and shoulders. Complimentary webinar discusses the dos and don’ts for better office ergonomics, Sept. 22, 9am

September 8, 2022 //  by admin

PLYMOUTH, MA…

Jen Graham of Ergo Consulting, LLC and Steve Wilson of Office Furniture Consulting

From a very young age we’re told to sit up straight. Unfortunately, many people are sitting up straight but looking down at their screen or cell phone. Or perhaps we’re sitting in an office chair with no lumbar support or set at the wrong height. All these scenarios can be a real pain in the neck, back and other places. Hence, the topic of ergonomics for the upcoming Straight Talk on Office Ergonomics webinar set for Thursday, September 22 at 9am.  The webinar is free, but reservations are recommended.

The free online webinar features Jennifer Graham of JG Ergo Consulting, a certified ergonomic assessment specialist and licensed physical therapist, and Steve Wilson, owner of Office Furniture Consulting. To RSVP, please visit shorturl.at/joPX3.

As part of her PT and ergonomic assessment practice, Graham offers in-person and virtual assessments of workstations and overall office ergonomics for companies of all sizes. She works hand in hand with human resource departments, facilities managers and business owners.

As owner of Office Furniture Consulting, Wilson provides space planning, quote specification development, ergonomic research, relocation services, and office furniture procurement services.

“Ergonomics has become even more important as people split time between a home office and/or a traditional office. Having proper ergonomics at both locations can prevent any nagging problems or conditions from occurring and recurring,” said Joe D’Eramo, of PR Works and founder of My Pinnacle Network, a B2B networking organization that’s one of the sponsors of the webinar.

In addition to My Pinnacle Network which hosts monthly meetings for business-to-business professionals at six locations throughout Massachusetts (Braintree, Wrentham, Newton, Marshfield and Westborough), the event’s sponsors include: South Shore Networking Professionals which connects business people monthly at locations throughout the South Shore; and Rockland Trust, offering a wide range of banking, investment, and insurance services to businesses and individuals through retail branches, commercial lending offices, investment management offices, and residential lending centers located in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as through online, mobile and phone banking.

The business community is welcome to attend. To RSVP, click here or call Steve Dubin, My Pinnacle Network, at 781-582-1061 or admin@mypinnaclenetwork.com.
