Furtado will assist clients in determining which bearing technologies would be most suitable by taking into consideration the specifications, recommendations, maintenance strategies, fatigue life and wear resistance of the bearing in relation to the application. These upgrades qualify for the Energy Star tax credit, which is a federal tax credit of 30 percent of the total cost (up to $1,500). The tax credit is available until December 31, 2010.
