Wareham Crossing Sponsors Outdoor Zumba Fitness Series

Wareham Crossing, is sponsoring a FREE Outdoor Zumba Fitness Series with elements™, the boutique-style fitness club, on Wednesday, August 21st and 28th, September 4th and 11th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness program with national and international influences. The outdoor Zumba series will be led by elements™ talented fitness instructors. The classes are geared towards all levels, and are open to women and men. There is no cost to attend.

“As the summer winds down, work loads increase and kids head back to school, things begin to get really hectic. Our Zumba classes are shakin’, rockin’ and hip rollin’ good times which will help keep stress levels in check,” noted Annmarie Churchill, owner of elements™.

Zumba Fitness Series will be held outside of elements™, which is located at 2421 Cranberry Highway, Unit 424, between Famous Footwear and Bath and Body Works.

The Artists’ Gallery at Wareham Crossing Now Open Through August

IMG_3110 copy gallery receptionWareham Crossing recently announced that the popular “Artists’ Gallery” will remain open through August 31st. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Wareham Crossing is located at 2421 Cranberry Highway, Route 28 in Wareham.

Sponsored by the Bourne Wareham Art Association (BWAA), the Artists’ Gallery displays oil, acrylic, watercolor and photography artwork of 15 local artists. Original artwork is on display and notecards, prints, Giclée and lithographs are available for purchase.

A grand opening reception was held in July and was well attended. The public was able to mingle with BWAA’s talented artists and enjoy catering and refreshments provided by Cosi and Wines and More.

According to Carole E. Raymond of the BWAA, “We’re delighted to have this opportunity at Wareham Crossing. We’re very pleased with the level of interest in the gallery and we’ve even experienced an increase in our membership base.”

Wareham Crossing Introduces “Family Movie Nights” in August

The Wareham Crossing is inviting their shoppers to enjoy outdoor “Family Movie Nights” every Monday night in August. Movie showings will take place at the newly renovated beach area behind Red Robin. Movies will begin around 8pm and guests are invited to arrive at 6pm to enjoy a fun night out at the center with entertainment and great deals from many of the stores and restaurants.

The first movie night will take place on August 5th and subsequent movie nights on the 12th, 19th, and 26th. Beginning at 6pm there will be entertainment, refreshments, & food provided by restaurants of Wareham Crossing. Guests can stop by Wines & More before the show to grab popcorn. “We are very excited about launching movie nights at Wareham Crossing. It will be a fun night out for many families in the area. It’s also a great way for the community to come together.” noted Niamh O’Maille, Field Marketing Manager at WS Development.

Wareham Crossing Announces Summer Concert Series

Wareham Crossing, located at 2421 Cranberry Highway, Route 28, has recently announced a FREE Summer Concert Series, which will be held on Thursday evenings in August.

Offering a variety of music genres, there will be tunes for all tastes at the Wareham Crossing Summer Concert Series. All concerts will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Bring your own seating and enjoy the line-up:

· Soul Box, offering soul music and a funky vibe on August 1st

· The jazz of Johnny Souza on August 8th

· Northern Shakers, one of the hottest local country bands, on August 15th

· The Corvairs playing classic rock oldies on August 22nd

All music shows will be hosted near Qdoba and Red Robin restaurant. All shows will be held weather permitting.
