Zoomin Groomin® Mobile Pet Services of Palm Bay, providers of traditional dog and cat grooming mobile spa services, as well as in-home pet and residential services for the Space Coast area, has been nominated for the 2012 Business Champion of the Year Award.
The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Business Resource Council holds this awards ceremony annually which gives Chamber partners an opportunity to honor outstanding fellow businesses.
Cathy Evans, a resident of Palm Bay, FL and the owner/operator of Zoomin Groomin® Mobile Pet Services said, “We’ve been in business just over a year now and it is such an incredible honor to be recognized as an outstanding business and nominated for the 2012 Business Champion of the Year Award.”
Business Champion of the Year Award winners are divided into categories: Emerging Business, which is the category in which Zoomin Groomin has been nominated; Jeffrey Butland Family Owned Business; Non-Profit Business Champion; Minority Business Champion; Service Industry Champion; Hospitality Industry Champion and Professional/Technical Service Champion. The awards ceremony will be held on Friday, September 28th, from 5:30– 8:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Viera at I-95 and Wickham Road.
Ms. Evans caters to mobile pet service clients with team member and head groomer, Pat White of Palm Bay. Ms. White has been in the dog grooming industry for more than 30 years and has been working in grooming management for over 15 years.
Zoomin Groomin of Palm Bay has grown quickly and just recently reached the milestone of 500th pet groomed. The company has participated in a number of community outreach events including: Bark in the Park for the Central Brevard Humane Society; Purina’s Adopt-A-Thon; Whiskers, Wags & Wine for the Central Brevard Humane Society; Mommy & Doggy Day; Paws in the Park and Paws on the Pier for the Central Brevard Humane Society.
