TLC Supply Inc.

Innovative solar installation solution. Solar Ballast Blocks now offered at TLC Supply

July 10, 2026 //  by admin

BRAINTREE, MA… TLC Supply, Inc., a leading masonry and hardscape supplier serving Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Southern New Hampshire, has announced the availability of 4” Solar Ballast Blocks, which are specifically used in solar panel installations.

Don Ross, TLC Supply

TLC Supply, based in Braintree, MA, is now New England’s exclusive source for 4” Solar Ballast Block.

Solar Ballast Block is a heavy-duty, freeze-thaw-resistant concrete block designed to anchor solar panels securely without drilling into the roof.

Contractors, solar project managers and solar installers appreciate that Solar Ballast Block is compatible with a wide range of solar mounting systems and no mechanical fastening is needed.

Solar Ballast Blocks are built for structural peace of mind and engineered for extreme durability. They are ideal for non-penetrating solar installations and for flat commercial and residential rooftops.

“Unlike standard concrete blocks, our 4” Solar Ballast Blocks are formulated to resist freeze-thaw damage, meaning no crumbling or cracking, which makes them a popular choice for rooftop solar in harsh climates,” said Rolanda Ross-Le, Vice President and General Manager of TLC Supply. “TLC Supply is dedicated to serving solar companies, installers and contractors and proudly serves as the area’s exclusive supplier for Solar Ballast Block.”

Solar Ballast Block is in stock at TLC Supply and ready for delivery or pick-up.

In addition to Solar Ballast Block, TLC Supply offers a comprehensive range of industry-leading brands and products that include hardscaping such as pavers, retaining walls, granite, bluestone, limestone, porcelain, aggregates and sand, as well as masonry such as bricks, concrete blocks, natural stone veneer, bagged cements, repair mortars, chimney flues and caps, masonry cleaners, and sealers. The company has a full fleet of delivery trucks, and provides fast, reliable service across the region.

Additionally, TLC Supply is a Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Certified Recycling Facility for used brick, block, concrete, and gravel.
