Webster One Source Becomes a Mail Partner of USPS and Facilitates EDDM

May 15, 2012 //  by admin

Webster One Source, providers of fine commercial printing, commercial sign solutions and complete mailing/fulfillment services with locations on the South Shore and in the Worcester area, recently announced that they have become a mail partner of the United States Post Office (USPS) and have developed a program to help businesses and franchises better utilize USPS’ Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) program.

As one of only 287 commercial print/mail service providers nationwide certified as a USPS mail partner, Webster One Source has the expertise to help businesses execute EDDM campaigns.

Webster One Source has designed an “Every Door Direct Mail Demystified” program, which takes clients through the entire process, from zip code processing, budget estimating, design, proofing, printing and delivery. It’s ideal for restaurants, retailers, cleaners, landscapers, local politicians, community groups, non-profits and Chambers of Commerce.

“Every Door Direct Mail is perfect for businesses looking to target mailings to their residential and business neighbors at the lowest possible cost. You choose just the carrier routes that are closest to your location or that offer the right demographics for your offering. From menus, postcards coupons and sale invitations to newsletter pieces, we can help clients identify and target their markets as well as meet all the USPS printing and mailing criteria for these materials. Essentially, we eliminate the guesswork and do the footwork for clients,” explained Ernie Foster, president of Webster One Source.

He continued, “For example, a local roofer could simply take a photo of a previous residential roofing job (with the homeowner’s permission) and use it in the development of a mail piece. Then he could use EDDM to target residents in that same neighborhood for as little as 14.5 cents per piece.”

Webster One Source not only facilitates the printing and mailing, but guarantees acceptance by the USPS, thus saving time and the potential expense associated with errors.

An EDDM piece must meet certain specifications. Email info@websteronesource.com for personal assistance with EDDM.

Webster One Source Introduces Custom Signs and Graphic Solutions

June 2, 2011 //  by admin

Need signage for that corporate trade show? Looking to jazz up your company’s lobby? Or perhaps you’d just like to commemorate a birthday in a unique way with a life-sized cut-out?

Webster One Source, providers of fine commercial printing, commercial sign solutions and complete mailing/fulfillment services with locations on the South Shore and in the Worcester area, now offers die-cut signage to corporate and individual customers.

The curvaceous signs are ideal for the corporate trade show or lobby and may be as large as size is 4 feet by 8 feet and up to ¾ inch thick. Signage may be directly printed and die cut onto a variety of materials. From pocket folders, capability brochures with tabs, specialty and promotional packaging prototypes to point of purchase (P.O.P) displays, corrugated boxes and general signage, Webster One Source can meet the signage needs of businesses and individuals.

“We’ve received a good response to our new die-cut services from businesses as well as individuals. The individual consumers are thrilled to be able to obtain something as personal and unique as a life-sized cut out of their child for his/her birthday for as little as $125,” noted Ernie Foster, the company’s president.

One example of the company’s die cut corporate signs is their own – the Webster One Source sign on the front lawn.

Webster One Source recently invested in new software and a flat bed die cutter (which optically reads the layouts to assure accurate cut-to-print registration) to provide die cutting at an affordable cost. There is NO additional die-charge.

Brenda Milestone Joins Webster One Source as Mailing Specialist

March 17, 2010 //  by admin

Webster One Source, providers of fine commercial printing, promotional specialty premiums, and complete mailing/fulfillment services with locations in the Worcester area and Hanson, has recently appointed Brenda Milestone, a Worcester resident, as Mailing Specialist.

Milestone has 20 plus years of experience in the mail and fulfillment industries and will be Webster’s lead mailing specialist managing all mailing activities in West Boylston. She is the former Vice President and co-owner of Global Business Express (GBX) mail fulfillment and digital printing company (formerly of Worcester) where she oversaw the company’s operations for 10 years. Since then, Milestone has been active in local business. Milestone is a native of Webster, MA.

According to Milestone, “I was attracted to Webster One Source because of their ability to be a one stop shop for MY customers. Although my expertise is in mail, I look forward to growing my knowledge in being able to provide high quality offset printing. There has been a lot of (printing and mailing) turnover in this area and a printing and mailing company with complete fulfillment services under one roof will allow me to grow my book of business.”

“Brenda has the knowledge and experience that is absolutely essential to this position and we’re pleased to welcome her to our talented team,” noted Ernie Foster, president of Webster One Source who is also a Worcester native.

Webster One Source is growing substantially in the Worcester area and will be hiring for future positions. To inquire, contact Brenda Milestone via email at brenda.milestone@websteronesource.com.

Local Printer Invests in New Technology & Expands Scope to Provide Internet Printing Services

October 14, 2009 //  by admin

Webster One Source (formally Webster Printing and Mailing) of Hanson and Worcester, Mass., providers of fine commercial printing, promotional specialty premiums, and complete mailing/fulfillment services has recently made a bold move in the current economy. The company has invested heavily in new press and pre-press technology and expanded their scope to offer an alternative to the Internet printing services.

Webster One Source obtained financing to purchase two new “green” presses, costing a total of $3 million plus. The new equipment is very environmentally friendly and uses fewer chemicals and less energy–which ultimately reduces operating costs and enables them to expand to Internet printing.

The decision to add a LOCAL alternative to Internet printing to their services came in response to the growing number of people utilizing Internet printers for business and independent print jobs. Serving the Worcester, 495 and Boston area, Webster One Source can now provide consumers with Internet printing services at the same low cost, but with the added benefits of agency quality printing, superior customer service and fast turnaround.

Customers can place their print order online at www.websteronesource.net and get a quick turnaround on their print project. They simply upload their file to Webster’s FTP (file transfer protocol) site to create a high resolution PDF and make their print selections. After credit card information is submitted, Webster One Source then completes the job quickly.

“Nowadays, people choose a printer solely based on cost and Internet printing companies offer very low prices. What people don’t realize is that whatever materials they submit to the typical online printer, is what they’ll get in return. There are no proofs; no one will review the work to catch errors; enhance the color and so forth. If there are errors, your typical Internet printer will be happy to do the job again – all you have to do is submit it as a new job and make another payment,” explained Ernie Foster, president of Webster One Sourrce. “That’s where we differ. We provide Internet printing services that are competitively priced, but we also provide agency quality printing and great customer service.”

In contrast to the rest of the economy, Webster One Source (formerly Webster Printing) of Hanson, Mass., providers of fine commercial printing, advertising specialty logo, corporate materials and fulfillment, is doing well. The company has expanded their hours of operation and is hiring more staff.

The company is now hiring additional full and part-time pre-press and bindery workers for weekend shifts.

“We wanted to add more services to help our clients who need printing or promotional items at the last minute. By eliminating the fee on ‘rush jobs’ and expanding our hours, we hope to help alleviate some of our clients’ stress when last minute projects surface as well as help them to keep their costs down,” explained Ernie Foster, president of Webster One Source.

As a “one-stop-shop” printing, mailing and fulfillment, Webster One Source helps clients build and enhance their brand by creating ad specialties and promotional items such as pens, mugs, apparel, laptop briefcases and more to be used for trade shows, events and as corporate gifts.

Webster One Source has the capability to do short runs of a single item to very large printing runs depending upon the client’s need. The company has recently incorporated a retail showroom at their Hanson location to showcase ad specialties and promotional options.
