Co-sponsored by the Plymouth Area Chamber and PR Works, a Guerilla Marketing seminar will outline how to use utilize low cost and hands on approach to move the marketing needle.
The event is set for Tuesday, April 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will be held at the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, 134 Court Street, Route 3A, Plymouth, MA 02360. Participants will learn about a wide range of Guerilla Marketing tactics including implementing cause related marketing, launching gratitude campaigns, co-promoting, going “big” with a mini budget, becoming an award winning company, employing reverse marketing, challenging the competition to a dual, learning to think way outside the box, launching referral rockets, breaking bread and sales quotas, getting the press on your team, and staying connected to your herd.
The session will be led by Steven V. Dubin, founder of PR Works, a Plymouth, MA-based PR and Guerilla Advertising firm. He is included in “Get Slightly Famous” and the “Consultant’s Kit”. He has won awards for innovative marketing programs that have established clients as the leaders in their field.
“The intent of this seminar is to provide specific examples of Guerilla Marketing and help participants go beyond ‘me too’ thinking,” noted Dubin. He added, “With a bit of creativity and some shoe leather, small companies can create buzz and new business. With a nominal budget and a great idea, you can beat the well financed competition.”
