For small business owners, there are many expenses associated with snow days. Those can range from lost foot traffic to your doors to worker productivity due to extended travel times to any number of reasons. Yet one expense you may not have considered is lost networking opportunities.
Think about it. How many networking events have you either not attended because of the weather or were canceled due to the weather? In the winter of 2014, that could one, two, three or more. And those are opportunities to connect that you cannot get back. Or can you? My Pinnacle Network’s Speed Networking event on February 25 provides an opportunity to make up for lost time. At this event, you will meet anywhere between 25 and 50 B2B professionals. This is more than just an introduction but a full minute to give your elevator pitch and hear theirs. There will also be time after the speed networking portion to circle back with attendees. When you think about most networking events you attend where five to 10 conversations is a very good night, the My Pinnacle Network’s Speed Networking event can help you make up for every lost opportunity this winter and then some. Speed Networking takes place on Tuesday, February 25 , 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Comfort Inn at 1374 North Main Street (Route 28) in Randolph, MA. The featured speaker will be Greg De Simone of Focal Point Coaching, who will offer some tips on networking prior to the event. There will be a cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres served. Admission is $19.95. |
