conductive flooring

Conductive Flooring Powerhouse SelecTech Inc. Passes Independent Test with Flying Colors

July 2, 2013 //  by admin

SelecTech, Inc., a leader in the manufacture of innovative flooring products from recycled materials, has recently announced that their signature commercial and industrial static control flooring systems have tested to be the “best in class”.

In a recent scientific test study conducted by a renowned, independent static control consulting firm, SelecTech, Inc.’s SelecTile ESD and FreeStyle ESD commercial and industrial flooring systems passed resistance flooring/footwear tests with flying colors.

SelecTile ESD and FreeStyle ESD flooring systems exceeded requirements for grounding personnel and ensuring minimal voltage during walking on static control flooring, particularly in environments of extreme sensitivity. With a maximum walking voltage level result of seven volts, SelecTech’s SelecTile ESD and FreeStyle ESD are well under the 100 volts desired by companies handling ESD sensitive devices.

“These independent test results conducted by one of the most prestigious independent consulting firms, provides us with conclusive scientific evidence that our product exceeds the standards required for walking voltage levels in ESD sensitive environments,” explained Thomas Ricciardelli, the company’s president.
