Old Colony Elder Services Honored as one of “Best Places to Work”

Nicole Long, CEO of Old Colony Elder Services (OCES) at the Cape & Plymouth Business Media 2023 Best Places to Work award ceremony held September 13, 2023, at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis. 

BROCKTON AND PLYMOUTH, MA…

Old Colony Elder Services (OCES), the non-profit agency with offices in Brockton and Plymouth and proudly serving older adults and individuals with disabilities throughout greater Plymouth County, has been honored as one of Cape & Plymouth Business Media 2023 Best Places to Work. 
 
OCES was recognized as one of Cape & Plymouth Business Media’s top 40 honorees for the 2023 Best Places to Work in a well-attended ceremony on September 13, 2023, at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, MA. 
 
“OCES is proud to be named 2023 Best Places to Work honoree among the South Shore and Cape Cod’s businesses recognized for team culture, community involvement, employee engagement and more. Creating a great place to work helps lift all stakeholders,” said Nicole Long, CEO, who accepted the award. 
 
Cape & Plymouth Business Media 2023 Best Places to Work nominations were voted based on criteria in team culture, hiring, training, community service and company communication. Nominations were made by staff, volunteers, and vendors. 
 
Over the past 49 years, OCES has grown to 243 full-time and 26 part-time employees, with 23 members on their Board of Directors. OCES’ leadership team includes Nicole Long, Chief Executive Officer; Anna Dee, Chief Operating Officer; Alisa DeLage, Chief Programs Officer; Rob Buckel-Gillis, Human Resources Director and Yolanda America, Finance Director. 
 
According to Long, “We’re very proud of our organization’s innovative company culture. Every team member has an important role, and we recognize and appreciate their dedication, contributions, and commitment to our mission and to our community.”
