Day of Beauty Event to Benefit Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation at South Shore Skin Center and Spa, Plymouth, December 3, 2011

November 14, 2011 //  by admin

South Shore Skin Center's Spa

South Shore Skin Center and Spa is delighted to announce a festive first! “Sunbeams and Snowflakes,” a Day of Beauty and Open House to benefit the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation, will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at South Shore Skin Center, One Scobee Circle, Plymouth, from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Day of Beauty will include a variety of aesthetic treatments and services designed to help guests look their radiant best for the holiday season. Among the many aesthetic treatments to be offered are Botox, fillers, facials, laser therapy, massage, makeup application, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. All guests will receive a 10 percent discount on products and Spa services purchased at the event.

In the true spirit of holiday giving, South Shore Skin Center and Spa personnel will be donating their services for “Sunbeams and Snowflakes.”  All funds raised from the purchase of treatments and products will benefit the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation’s school-based program, SunAWARE.

The Open House will provide guests the opportunity to shop for luxurious holiday gifts from the Spa at a 10 percent discount, as well as to enjoy light refreshments and soothing music, find amazing “deals” in the Silent Auction, and win great prizes in the Raffle.

Representatives from the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation will be on hand throughout the day to meet guests, provide information, and answer questions about the foundation’s mission and program to protect children from skin cancer.  Their innovative school-based program, “SunAWARE” is delivered free of charge to children from kindergarten through twelfth grade in Massachusetts schools.

Please R.S.V.P online for the Open House at:

Because South Shore Skin Center and Spa anticipates a brisk response to this event, persons interested in booking Spa appointments are strongly encouraged to call early. The first 70 guests to schedule an appointment for services will receive a Coolibar sun hat (a $20 value.)

For those who are unable to attend the event, but who would like to support the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation’s work in the schools by making a tax-deductible donation, visit www.melanomaprevention.org/donate.html.
